## v1.8 — 17 March 2026

* **Bug fixes & UX improvements** — ScaleConnect just got a little bit better.

***

## v1.7 — 11 March 2026

* **Construction loans** — Add construction loans with variable rate inputs and interest-only periods. Backend supports variable rate fields and loan updates for construction-stage financing.
* **Client list performance** — Client list renders immediately while cash savings and readiness dates load in the background. Goals and subgoals cached in session storage to eliminate redundant fetches.
* **Personal timeline caching** — Backend now serves cached personal timeline widget data instead of recalculating on every request.
* **Loan form handling** — Smarter loan form with auto operating expenses, improved client overview loan display, and "Length" renamed to "Interest only period" for clarity.
* **Goal caching** — Goals cached at the overview worker level for faster dashboard loads.

***

## v1.6 — 5 March 2026

* **Stamp duty auto-recalculation** — Stamp duty now recalculates automatically when price, state, or property purpose changes. Saved values restore correctly on edit.
* **Capital gain/loss fix** — Modal loads the correct event type and updates existing events instead of creating duplicates.
* **Sell property fix** — Estimated net capital gain restores correctly when editing a sell event.

***

## v1.5 — 3 March 2026

* **Goals & subgoals** — Set portfolio goals for clients and track progress with subgoals, progress bars, and edit-in-place modals.
* **Connect existing ScaleApp user** — Link an existing ScaleApp client to your practice without re-creating their profile.
* **Delete clients** — Remove clients from your practice directly in ScaleConnect.
* **Cash savings & readiness date in client list** — Both values now visible in the table view.
* **Chrome app** — Install ScaleConnect as a Chrome app with a dedicated icon.
* **Property assumptions & events fixes** — Improved reliability across property event modals.

***

## v1.4 — 22 February 2026

* **Edit strategy flow redesign** — Fully rebuilt strategy editor with reliable save, display, and export. Navigate between clients and edit properties inline.
* **Clone & delete strategies** — Duplicate a strategy to compare scenarios, or delete ones you no longer need.
* **Property-loan payload mapping** — Lender, variable rate, commissions, and deposit/LMI toggle now map correctly to the backend.
* **Subgoal & meeting trigger positioning** — Fixed timeline positioning for subgoals and meeting triggers.

***

## v1.3 — 18 February 2026

* **Template builder** — Create and manage reusable strategy templates.
* **AI automations settings** — Configure review scheduling, readiness tracking, and the meeting scheduling bot from Settings.
* **In-app chat (Pylon)** — Get help directly inside ScaleConnect via the chat bubble in the bottom-left corner.
* **Disconnect client** — Unlink a client from your practice without deleting their data.
* **Reset password** — Reset your password from the login screen.
* **Rename: Portfolio Goals** — "Financial Targets" is now "Portfolio Goals" across the platform.

***

## v1.2 — 10 February 2026

* **Help centre popup** — Access help docs directly from inside the app.
* **Terms & conditions** — Added in-app terms and conditions acceptance flow.
* **Deemed acquisition & financial timeline** — Bug fix related to Deemed Acquisition trigger.
* **Property details improvements** — Better integration and form handling for property details.
* **Client review fixes** — Resolved glass rendering bug and ownership text display.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.scaleconnect.com.au/release-notes/readme.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
