# Desktop App

ScaleConnect runs in your browser, but you can install it as a desktop app for a dedicated window, a dock/taskbar icon, and faster access.

## Install on Desktop (Chrome)

1. Open ScaleConnect in **Google Chrome**.
2. Click the **install icon** in the address bar (a monitor with a down arrow), or open the Chrome menu (⋮) and select **Install ScaleConnect…**
3. Click **Install** in the confirmation dialog.
4. ScaleConnect opens in its own window with a dedicated icon in your dock (Mac) or taskbar (Windows).

To uninstall, click the three-dot menu inside the app window and select **Uninstall ScaleConnect**.

The desktop app is a Progressive Web App (PWA). It uses the same login, the same data, and the same URL as the browser version — just without the browser chrome.

## Install on Desktop (Edge)

1. Open ScaleConnect in **Microsoft Edge**.
2. Click the **App available** icon in the address bar, or go to **Settings (…) → Apps → Install ScaleConnect**.
3. Click **Install**.

## Install on Mobile

ScaleConnect is built for desktop, but you can add it to your phone's home screen for quick access.

**iPhone (Safari)**

1. Open ScaleConnect in Safari.
2. Tap the **Share** button (square with an up arrow).
3. Scroll down and tap **Add to Home Screen**.
4. Tap **Add**.

**Android (Chrome)**

1. Open ScaleConnect in Chrome.
2. Tap the Chrome menu (⋮).
3. Tap **Add to Home Screen** (or **Install app**).
4. Tap **Install**.

## ScaleApp for Your Clients

Your clients access their portfolio, AI assistant, and strategy data through **ScaleApp** — the consumer mobile app. ScaleApp is available on the App Store and Google Play.
