# Join the Community

ScaleConnect is built alongside the brokers who use it. The Slack community is where that happens — it's where you hear what's coming, tell us what's missing, and connect with other brokers figuring out the same things you are.

It's free. It takes 30 seconds. And the conversations there directly shape what gets built next.

## Get In

1. Click the invite link below (or ask your Scale contact to send one).
2. Sign in with an existing Slack account, or create one — it's free.
3. Say hello in **#general**. That's it.

{% hint style="info" %}
If the link has expired, message us via in-app chat or email **<support@scaleconnect.com.au>** and we'll send a fresh one straight away.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
Already have a Slack workspace for your brokerage? No problem — Slack supports multiple workspaces. The ScaleConnect community sits alongside yours in the sidebar.
{% endhint %}

## Your Feedback Actually Gets Built

This isn't a suggestion box that goes nowhere.

When you post a feature request or vote on one in Slack, it goes straight into our development pipeline. Our AI agent monitors the community and scopes out requests in real time — meaning your idea can go from a Slack message to a planned feature in the same day.

We run regular polls in **#feature-votes** so you can upvote the features that matter most to your practice. The most-requested ideas get prioritised, and you'll see them show up in **#product-updates** when they ship.

You're not just using the product — you're helping build it.

## What Else You Get

* **Early access** — Hear about features before they hit the [release notes](broken://pages/NFCuMsArzMNaKK9p6JbA), and occasionally get beta access to try things first.
* **No ticket queues** — Ask a question and get a real answer from someone who built the thing. Conversations, not case numbers.
* **Broker-to-broker** — See how other brokers present strategies to clients, structure their workflows, and get more out of ScaleAI. The best ideas come from people doing the same work you are.
* **Live sessions** — Periodic walkthroughs, Q\&As, and deep-dives on new features. Casual, not corporate.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.scaleconnect.com.au/scaleconnect-docs/join-the-community.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
