# Integrations

ScaleConnect integrates with Google Calendar to power scheduling, availability checking, and the AI Scheduling Agent. Connecting takes under a minute and unlocks the platform's full meeting automation capabilities.

***

## Connect Google Calendar

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

#### Open Settings → Integrations

Click **Settings** in the sidebar, then navigate to **Integrations**. Find the **Google Calendar** card.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Authorise with Google

Click **Connect** on the Google Calendar card. A Google OAuth consent screen opens — sign in with the Google account that holds your primary work calendar and grant access.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Confirm connection

You'll be redirected back to ScaleConnect. The card now shows a **Connected** badge with your Google account email.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

{% hint style="info" %}
Use your primary work Google account. If you're on Google Workspace, your admin may need to approve ScaleConnect as an authorised third-party app.
{% endhint %}

## What It Unlocks

Once connected, Google Calendar powers several features across the platform:

| Feature                     | What it does                                                                                                       |
| --------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Calendar in the top bar** | See your daily schedule at a glance without leaving ScaleConnect |
| **Availability checking** | Every booking flow checks your calendar first — no double-bookings |
| **Scheduling Agent** | The AI bot negotiates meeting times with clients inside chat, books the event, and adds a Google Meet link |
| **AI Workflow triggers** | When a client crosses a readiness threshold, the platform auto-books a review meeting on your calendar |
| **Two-way sync** | Events created in either system stay in sync — reschedule in Google and it updates in ScaleConnect, and vice versa |

## Disconnecting

Go to **Settings → Integrations**, click the **Google Calendar** card, then **Disconnect**. ScaleConnect revokes OAuth tokens and removes synced data. Your Google Calendar itself is unaffected.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Disconnecting disables the Scheduling Agent, availability checking, and automated meeting booking until you reconnect.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.scaleconnect.com.au/scaleconnect-docs/workspace/integrations.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
